The Paulding Amateur Radio Club, Inc., Paulding County's oldest and largest amateur radio club, is a 501(c)(3) corporation that was formed in 1990 and incorporated in 1998, consisting of a membership of operators from Paulding County and the surrounding area. Club meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Paulding County public library (Dallas Branch).
The club runs a repeater W4TIY at 224.700- with a PL of 100. Feel free to use the repeater any time you are in the Paulding County area. A 440 repeater at 443.700+ is being planned.

The beacon, which operates continuously, uses the W4TIY callsign and transmits a short message repeated after 3 seconds using 25 watts into a vertical antenna. We welcome any signal reports. Feel free to listen to the beacon any time you want to know if 10 meters is open to the Metro-Atlanta, Georgia area.
